Aikaterini (Katerina) Bousleli is a contemporary dancer, dance teacher and choreographer based in the Bay Area. She has been trained in Classical Ballet, Modern Dance Theatre, Contemporary Dance, and Contact Improvisation. As a contemporary dancer, she was a member of various dance companies in Greece, such as b.area.4, Faos, Redance, and Animotus. She has been teaching different dance styles since 2011 but the last years she orients herself to contemporary dance and choreography. As a choreographer, she has created solo and group pieces, as well as the video dance ATLAS Project, with screenings in the Athens Video Dance Project (Greece, 2020), Video Dance Festival (Brazil, 2021), Hibrido Festival (Brazil, 2021). She holds an M.A. in Theatre Arts from the San Francisco State University, which has provided her with a deep knowledge of the performing arts and the importance of dramaturgy into the choreographic process and composition.
