Cynthia Lagodzinski lives in the Tri-Valley and works around the San Francisco Bay Area as a director, actor, and designer. Recent directing credits include King Lear, and As You Like It, Silicon Valley Shakespeare, Strings Attached (Cinema 3.0/Amazon Prime). Favorite roles include Marthy, Anna Christie, Eugene O’Neill Foundation, Danville and EON Festival, Ireland, Mrs. Dashwood in Sense & Sensibility, Mistress Page in Merry Wives of Windsor, at Silicon Valley Shakespeare, and Lady Catherine de Bourgh in Pride & Prejudice, Livermore Shakespeare Festival. Cynthia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Acting and Playwriting and a Post-Baccalaureate in Directing from UCSC. She completed her Master's Degree in Theatre at SFSU this December, presenting a thesis defense of her all-female King Lear production. In January, she will begin teaching theatre courses at Las Positas College in Livermore.
